AEP student Jeffrey Huang ’19 has been chosen as this year’s winner of the College of Engineering Alumni Association (CEAA) Undergraduate Research Award. Huang is a member of the Pollack Lab and his research focuses on measuring and modeling flexible nucleic acids.
The Alumni Association award is meant to support a student who has shown exceptional commitment and success in research in engineering in the continuation of their efforts. The research award is meant to continue the student’s research for an entire year. Chosen students typically have been supported through the College’s ELI grants program and usually are rated high by reviewers from that program. Winning students also have must have strong endorsements from faculty members in their department.
The award will be presented at the CEAA’s annual awards dinner on Friday, April 28, 2017. The ceremony will be from 7:00 – 9:00 pm and will be held in McManus Lounge in Hollister Hall. Congratulations, Jeffrey Huang!
