aepgroup

On Sunday, May 29, 2011, Cornell University’s Commencement ceremony was held at Schoellkopf Stadium. Immediately following, the graduates of the School of Applied and Engineering Physics met in the new Physical Sciences Building to receive their diplomas and partake in the AEP commencement reception. Frank Wise, professor and director of AEP, delivered this years address, and he reminded us all why the graduates of the School of Applied and Engineering Physics have so much to be proud of.

This year there were 47 recipients of Bachelor of Science Degrees in Engineering Physics, 8 recipients of Master of Science Degrees in Engineering Physics, and 6 recipients of Doctor of Philosophy Degrees in Applied Physics. Eighty-percent of the graduating class graduated with honors.
