NOVA visits Cornell: A behind the scenes look

On Thursday, August 4th, 2011, NOVA came to Cornell University for their film shoot with the Muller research group in Duffield Hall. David Pogue, host of the NOVA series "Making Stuff" interviewed AEP Professor David Muller; here are some of the candid shots from behind the scenes.

Hammers, screwdrivers, steel, and a NOVA film crew; just an average day in Duffield.

David Muller talks to David Pogue about atoms.

The crew looks on as John Grazul, the TEM facility manager, shows what the electron microscope is made of. Also featured: Robert Hovden and Pinshane Huang, graduate students in the Muller research group.

Stay tuned for updates on the exciting release of this Cornell University edition of NOVA, which is due out in mid-February 2012.
